New York State Disc Golf Championship – Framed Poster
The 2026 New York State Disc Golf Championship poster was created to commemorate one of New York’s premier competitive disc golf events and the landscapes that helped define it.
Centered around the Empire State Building, the illustration connects two distinctly New York environments. To the west, the Fire Island Lighthouse and Great South Bay represent the coastal character of Long Island. To the east, towering pines and wooded fairways evoke the parklands that have hosted generations of players. Together, these elements create a visual portrait of place, linking competition to the environments in which it occurs.
Inspired by the tradition of WPA travel posters, national park prints, and regional tourism artwork, the design was created as both event identity and historical record. Rather than documenting a single moment, it captures the broader experience of the championship: the courses, the landscape, and the community that gathered around them.
