Hi, I’m Michael Berrell.
I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and educator based on Long Island, New York. For more than a decade I’ve created branding, merchandise, apparel, posters, and promotional artwork for tournaments, events, organizations, and community projects.
My work combines illustration, identity design, storytelling, and production-ready merchandise systems to help events create products people actually want to keep long after the event is over.
Over the years I’ve designed artwork and merchandise for disc golf tournaments, skydiving events, snowboard brands, musicians, community organizations, and outdoor recreation projects. My work ranges from event logos and apparel graphics to complete merchandise collections, promotional campaigns, and visual identity systems.
Ordinary Design was created as a place to share that work and make it available beyond a single event weekend. The shop features original artwork, commemorative merchandise, apparel, posters, and limited-run designs inspired by the communities, places, and events I’ve had the opportunity to work with.
Whether it’s a championship tournament, a weekend boogie, a concert, a mountain resort, or a local community event, the goal is always the same: create something people are proud to wear, display, collect, and remember.
